I have worked in the resturant bussiness for 10 years and have never come accross the situation I am in now. My employer pays everyone minimum wage, even the cooks. I as a server have to pool all of my tips. The cooks end up walking with the same amount of money I am. An example; lets say I sell $1,700 worth of food and my tips are $350. After the tip pool I walk home with $120, is this legal?
